The Transportation Club of Jacksonville is proud to host a historic luncheon event featuring Derek D. Barrs, the Administrator of the FMCSA — marking the first time a sitting Administrator has spoken at TCJAX.
With nearly 35 years in law enforcement and roadway safety, Derek Barrs leads the nation’s efforts to enhance commercial motor vehicle safety and streamline regulatory oversight. His distinguished career includes service as Chief of the Florida Highway Patrol, leadership at HNTB Corporation, and active involvement in national safety organizations such as the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) and the American Trucking Association’s Law Enforcement Advisory Board.
Following his opening remarks, Administrator Barrs will sit down for an exclusive interview with Dale Prax and John Cantera of the Freight Fraud Task Force for an in-depth discussion on the FMCSA’s priorities, enforcement modernization, and the fight against fraud in freight.
This special luncheon will be live-streamed to ensure members and industry professionals nationwide can tune in to this unprecedented TCJAX event.
